I am completely confused with this issue. The other day I was driving on the interstate and it seemed as though the trans just down shifted out if nowhere. Later that day I was driving it and noticed that it went through first and second gears fine but when it should've shifted into third it just drove up to 4000 rpm and won't shift any higher. I drive an 89 iroc-z 395 tbi. If anyone has any input or knowledge of what could be causing thus issue your help is greatly appreciated.
