Transmission: T56 6 speed
86 iroc z transmission and engine swap.
Hi all,
I am putting a 2 piece rear main 383 stroker motor into my 1986 iroc z camaro that has a one piece rear 305 with the 5 speed tranny. I know i have to get a special conversion flywheel to get a LT1 T56 to work. If I get the conversion flywheel can i use my stock 5 speed or do I have to get the lt1 6 speed? I know the 6 speed would be better but for money reasons I want to know if i can use my 5 speed for now.
