Car: 1988 Camaro IROC-Z
Engine: 5.7tpi l98
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: BW 9Bolt 2.77
t56 and alston sfcs
OK, so I have a completely stock 88 irocz with a 5.7 and 700r4 trans. I plan on swapping the trans out for an lt1 style t56. I also have a a pair of Alston sfcs. I know the sphon crossmember will work with minor trimming but is there a better path to take? I hear the cross member gets in the way of the exhaust.And which do you think I should install first, the trans or the sfcs, I was thinking the sfcs so I could trim the cross member more accurately that way. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
