Auburn Help????
I'm 99% sure that the rear I purchased is an Auburn unit. The guy said it came from an 89 TA WS6. I can't seem to find much info on them though. Are the Auburn units full posi or LSD? Anything special or different about re-building these?

"Full posi" = "LSD"
Same thing
If it's an Auburn, it's probably trash by now; those didn't stand the test of time very well.
There's no "rebuilding" it. Auburn doesn't sell the parts.
A 89 TA should have had a 9-bolt though.
Find out what you have FOR CERTAIN, by the only method that is reliable which is, LOOK AT THE PARTS. Don't bother speculating about "might", total waste of time.
Funny how people always buy stuff FIRST, then get on the Internet and ask about what it is.... seems like it would be logical to do it the other way around but it never seems to work that way.
