Dust Cver for a TH200C
HI,
I am looking for a dust cover for a TH200C, think that was only used on Thirdgens in 1982. I see that there a some universal plastic ones out there but don't like the look of these. There are metal ones for 700R4, Th 350 etc available. I was wondering are the dust covers used in GM cars of the 80's pretty standard across all transmissions are are there big differences. My car has the 2.8L engine so don't know is the starter in a different place than on the V8's. Does anyone know of a good transmission place I could try.
Thanks.

I don't know what fits a V6 TH200 as all I have here are 200-4R and V8 700-R4. And a I new GM plastic cover for SBC/200-4R. Not even sure if that fits the 700-R4.
As for plastic - they last a really long time and steel doesn't really gain anything.
I don't usually run one at all.
You might try one of the parts vendors that deals in used cars; the vendor review forum on here might tip you off on one to contact.

Thanks for the reply, just wondered if the flywheel cover is much the same across all GM Transmissions.

Thanks for the reply, just wondered if the Flywheel covers were much the same across all the GM Transmissisions. For the TH200C they are probably out there just to find one.
Thanks.
Thanks.
