new driveshaft or used?
My th400 is already in all that's left now is the drive shaft.
Would I be better of with a complete new one or just getting one shorten? I'm guessing
Shorten is cheaper but would like to know what you guys think about it
I just figure I'd see what options are out there

I never cut them down... a new one only is a few bucks more and I know the tube is solid and balanced perfect. I vote new.

Any competent drive shaft shop can shorten it and rebalance as good as new.
If your original is in good shape, I'd go that route.
I guess if you have the money to spend, you could get a fancy new one!
