Posi swap question??

I have a second gen camaro posi rear end I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just swap out the posi unit into my third gen rear end? without any modifications, using all the third gen hardware. Has anyone done this?

It will not work. The 2nd gen rear end is the 8.5 and the 3rd gen rear end is the 7.5. Parts do not interchange.
