Is there really a different cable for the early TPI vs the 90-92 TPI?
I want to put a stealth ram on my truck and I need to get a bracket and cable. Just trying to make sure I get the right ones.

The reason I am asking is my concern over buying a mount. Most of the ebay listings for throttle cable and tv cable mounts do not specify years. Yet if you go to look at tv cables they are broken up into 2 different groups. To the best of my knowledge the transmission end of the cable hasn't changed. So is the differences in the engine side?
The only thing I can think of is to try to find a cable mount off a parts car that I know the year of.
Or unless someone can tell me there are no differences which is what I am thinking.

 

The difference how it hooks up to the throttle body and length. Don't buy some cheap ebay TV cable. Get the part number from the dealer. Then search with that part number on ebay/online parts store. Get an AC Delco one, not some after market junk.
