How to ID a T5 flywheel?
I need a flywheel for my project, a T5 swap into a '91 305 car. Going to look at a used flywheel, how do I tell what year /type it is? As far as I know, the one piece rear main engines, 1987-1992, use a different one from the earlier cars, How do I tell them apart?

Bolt pattern.
The center hole is about ½" smaller on the 1-pc, and the bolt circle is correspondingly smaller.
The 1-pc units also have the little "bat wing" internal balance weight on them to replace the weight supplied by the non-round 2-pc crank flange.
