Anyone else tired of the stupid button on top style? I want to see some interesting automatic shift *****. Trying to find one thats decent. Pictures would be greatly appreciated lol

it's called: buying an aftermarket shifter.

 

The Pontiacs have a T-handle. I bought a center console in the junk yard that came with the shifter out of an IROC. My son talked me into putting that egg handle on my car.

I kept it about one trip around the block and switched back.

Only pic I have of mine easy to find. As you can see I was working on the dash.

 

Well i'm not rich and I drive a v6 no need for upgraded mega shifters. And that looks decent. I'm looking into putting a 5th gen shift **** on it

A quick trip to any local junkyard that'll let you wander around by yourself, and you can find a whole host of other style shift ***** in other GM cars that will work well in a 3rd gen. Try looking in the Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Cadillacs. A lot of the more luxurious GM cars had some pretty nice shift ***** in them that'll work great. A buddy of mine put a Toronado leather shift **** in his 90 Iroc. While it's not my cup of tea, he loves it.
