Forget the aluminum flywheel, it will hurt your performance more than it could help. Centerforce dual friction clutches are good, I have a zoom kevlar clutch and love it.

Stage 2?
and how come you don't recommend an aluminium flywheel? i figured it would help since the stock one is heavy as crap
I had a cheap ram clutch and it gave out within the year :/
maybe drove it to hard, that's why I'm thinking a stage 2

Steel flywheels will store energy, which will produce torque, Aluminium is great for a high power drag race car, allow the engine to accelerate faster, and since the engine is already producing a lot of torque, steel becomes more of a hinderance. Look on McLeod website you will see that they don't recommend aluminium for street drive cars only steel

Re: Clutch systems and flywheels

I like my SPEC steel flywheel and stage 1 clutch. I got the clutch for $220 shipped it was a great deal and works great with a 485tq capacity.

Re: Clutch systems and flywheels

COOL! I'm definitely going to invest in a steel flywheel!
Any recommendations for clutches? I've heard dual friction certerforces are really good
I'm looking into a stage 2 my last clutch didn't survive a year(probably my driving style)
