T5 Hydraulics
Hi, everyone!
I just acquired a 1984 Camaro with the 2.8L V6 and T5 transmission. It needs new hydraulics for the clutch from top to bottom.
AC Delco 174-1072 assemblies are available on eBay and Amazon for $103.86 and up. These include the reservoir, master, and slave cylinders. I like the idea of buying genuine AC Delco parts in a complete set but the eBay compatibility bot says 174-1072 is not compatible with my car.
On the other hand, Auto Zone lists the same part numbers for the master and slave for my car and the 1992 Z/28 with a V8.
What gives? Do all T5 cars with hydraulic clutches use the same hydraulic system parts or are they different for the V6s and V8s over the years? Is the eBay compatibility bot full of it? Should I convert to a TH700-R4? (just kidding!)
TIA for all information!

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: T5 Hydraulics
The "set" is different for different cars, only by the line from the master to the slave having slightly different bends.
They are all completely compatible and interchangeable however; especially, one for a newer car will fit an older one.
