Engine: 5.7 L98
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.45 9 Bolt Posi
What 4th Gen has an Aluminum Driveshaft?
What model 4th gens had an aluminum driveshaft? And are those 4th gen aluminums the same as the 3rd gen aluminums?

Also will they mount up to a 9 bolt? I assume its just a matter of changing U joints...

98-02 V8 CARS, all have aluminum im 98% sure, and they should bolt right in, same ujoints... should be direct swap

yeah my 89 IROC with 9bolt used the same ujoints as all the others.
