700R4 stuttering
700R4 stuttering
So yesterday i was driving home and and it looked like when my 700R4 got past first gear it would litterally stutter.
If i put the car in neutral i could rev the engine fine. So i figured it wasn't the engine. The weird part is that when i got home started it up the next mourning it stopped. Now it drives like it normally does.
Does anyone know why it would be stuttering in 2 and 3 gear.
I have a 700R4 that was rebuilt with 4k of miles on it, and it has a B&M shift kit built into it. I also have a 373 rear.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: 700R4 stuttering
Maybe something is up with the torque convertor. I'm just going off info I've read about other newer transmissions though I'm not sure if that applies to 700's =/. Also maybe the valvebody is giving you problems it could be clogged with dirt or possibly worn out. I'd say drop the valvebody and take it all apart and clean it real good. I had my valvebody clogg up and give me weird issues like yours.
