10bolt Rear Drum to DIsc with plates?

This looks like a great website for conversions.

http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i238.html

It appears that they have a drum to disc conversion on the rears with these brackets? Is this true? Anyone done this?

I was thinking have rear disc even lt/ls1 style rears are fine. The fronts will be more critical. It appears for $500 they have various swaps?

What are other improvements for for front upgrades that are low cost. (not wildwood) $1000+ setups?

This will just be a street 88 lb9 auto 305 tpi with current 10 bolt posi.

Look in the tech articles on the homepage there is an article on swapping the 98-02 rear disc onto a factory drum axle, its pretty easy honestly and you dont need any special brackets you can use the brakes backing plate and pRking brake assembly.

I put the 1LE up front and the J65 on the rear, works nice and I like it

There are a number of things you can do but 98 -02 rear disc conversion is easy and cheap.

Front brake upgrades are numerous Vette 12 inch rotors and calibers or late model vette conversion. Just search the brake threads for disc brake conversion front or rear.

I would personally go 98-02 rear and late Vette front. That's my plan anyway, I have been looking at doing Vette all around but am reluctant to spend on the 10 bolt.

Thanks for the ideas. Glad to see it is an easy and low cost swap. This upgrade and some ss brake lines should give me much more street confidence & safety for mild street v8
