turbo 350 part
I am hoping someone can tell me what and where this "cable goes or does. It is in front of the dipstick and is a coated spring cable about 3/8" dia. and 12+" long. It looks like a fitting on the end but has a secured black disc in the end where threads would be. When I took it out of my Camaro I didn't notice it until I took it out and it(cable) got hung up in engine bay. No clue where it was and don't see it in any pictures. Any info would be helpful. Kickdown cable....not used with carb engines on this transmission

Re: turbo 350 part
I know my th350 i put in my buick back in the day had a kickdown cable... and im pretty sure they all did, carbed engine or not. And the buick was carb'd. The only cables i can think of on that 350 are kickdown and speedo, and speedo is in the back.

Re: turbo 350 part
Yup, that'd be the "kickdown" cable; aka manual valve cable.
Was DEFINITELY used with carbed engines, that being, for all practical purposes, the only kind the Turbo 350 ever came behind.

Yours may be short for some unknown reason.
But a stock one looks something like the attached picture.
And the other end, well, I have a picture (like you should have had for this thread) of that too: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/post...40-post30.html
