Something Just Doesn't Look Right!!!

Hello all. Okay, here's my scenario. New Edelbrock 1406 on a stock 305 engine. The transmission was shifting HARD and late from first to second. From reading the forums here, I learned the TV cable needs to be pretty much perfect. I also learned there are brackets to fix this. I got on Summit.com and ordered the following parts:

SUM-700203 - TV Cable Geometry Correction Bracket
TCI-376700 - TV Cable Bracket

I have attached a picture of the finished product and even being new to transmission work, I can tell this isn't right. The car still shift REALLY hard and late from first to second. Can anyone please tell me which part is wrong and/or which part I actually need to order to get the geometry correct? Thanks in advance!

After cruising more of these forums, I found a picture of a bracket that looks like it would work PERFECT for my application. Any idea what manufacturer or part # this is?
