3.27 ratio. not to sure what happened but I blew up my 9 bolt, of course it has to be the most ridiculous differential to deal with. Any suggestions, I have done a fair bit of research but I am hoping to get some more ideas. Honestly probably try and rebuild the diff so if you have idea's on that it would be much appreciated!!!!
Thanks

Depends on how you blew it up, but a lot of times the posi cones wear out and the backlash on the internal spider gears gets all screwed up and causes them to break. if the cones are worn you can buy new ones.... they will need a little machine work, but they are available (Online in north america) if you know where to look.
But at least consider a different diff. I love my 9-bolt but it had remarkably in tact cones when I bought it.

If you've got to replace gears and a whole bunch of internal parts, you're better off just getting a different diff. It's up to you whether you want to get another 9-bolt. Just be aware for 9-bolts that cone condition is everything.

Hey, the carrier is heat scored, the cones are worn down, axles are goo, spyder gears done, bearings are still good to, I found a reconditioned 28 spline 3.27 ratio 9 bolt 3 series carrier from 9bolt.com for 500 Canadian as our dollar is higher than the Australian. Anyone ordered or had any experience with 9 bolt.com?

Got a rebuilt carrier from them no problem. Not as much space in the window as the pic from infernalvortex though. Shipping from Australia was like $144.00 U.S. iirc. Ringpinion.com has quality parts and rebuild kits. Autozone has bearings and wheel seals.
ill probably go with 9bolt.com
