Wondering if anyone has installed a sagina 4 speed in their 3rd gen. Is it much work or can it be done.

Re: trany swap

Which Saginaw 4-speed? The iron-case with the 2.54 / 1.80 / 1.44/1.00 ratios as used in the '75 Camaro 350? Installing that would be much like an '82 Z28 with the T-10, inly this proposal is heavier, weaker, worse-geared, and will require a divorced torque arm, like the Jegs kit.
Forget it, better to suffer a TH350 than this idea.
