Ok so this just started last night. In first gear and only first gear I have a weird sound, its kinda hard to describe but sounds like metal on metal but smooth sounding, or like when you blow over the top of a bottle. I generally don't push first gear past 3000 rpm's if even that high. I have the 700r4 and with my mega shifter I do sometimes drive it manually so I've kinda been expecting something to go wrong. Any ideas what it would be though?

 

I just check my fluid and its kinda high, its up to the bend in the stick past the full line. im guessing it'd be a good idea to drain some out but could this could of caused the sound im hearing?
