1350 Yolk, 12 bolt to 700 R4 drive shaft length

I am swapping in a Moser 12 bolt with a 1350 yolk. Its going to a 700-r4.

Anyone know what the correct drive shaft length will be?

Also what HP will the stock aluminum shaft handle.. I'm up around 675 fwhp and 675 lb/ft torque

Stock aluminum shafts are very weak. Don't expect it to last.

Correct driveshaft length....
Install diff
Install slip yoke into transmission all the way then pull it back out 1"
Measure distance from center of driveshaft u-joint to center of diff u-joint
That's the correct length driveshaft required for YOUR car.

I've seen a stock third-gen alum. shaft handle a 3500lb 4 speed Rat car that ran 10.80s.

A 4th gen thin-wall shaft, I wouldn't expect to do that.
