I am getting ready to start mocking up my engine/transmission swap and I need a few measurements. I am planning on putting in an M49 (4th gen T5) behind a turbo 3800 and I need to make sure they are the same length and mount the same. I can make a custom transmission crossmember, but if I don't have to I don't want to. I know the driveshafts are the same from 4th to 3rd gen, so that leads me to believe I will be safe. I am more concerned with transmission mount location. Below is what I am looking for.

Overall length of the 3rd gen T5 (from input shaft back would be nice, but if you could give me from bellhousing back that will work as well)
Distance from tip of input shaft to transmission mount (again input would be nice, but if not from bellhousing will work)
Distance from motor mount to crossmember mounting bolts (left to center and right to center)

This would be greatly appreciated.

 

One more measurement needed, tailshaft to axle. Thanks guys.
