Hi everyone, I am currently in the process of pulling my engine and tranny out of my 89 IROC and I have run into an issue with the transmission mount. It is a 700R4 Tranny with the 350 TPI engine and on top of the mount there is a plate that bolts onto the tranny along with the mount. This plate however has been snapped on the two extensions that go up to bolt on to the transmission portion (Miracle I haven't felt or heard anything banging to notify me of this). However, I have called around trying to find this plate and have had absolutely zero luck and was wondering if anyone knows where I may find this little guy.

 

Not sure that I understand what piece is snapped,.... Can you post a pic ??

 

Here are a couple pictures that I took this morning. It isn't the entire mount, just the little plate of angle iron on the top of it.

 

Scratch this thread, my new 700R4 does not have a need for this plate. I believe the old transmission had the plate made at home because it does not have the mount holes on the bottom! Thanks for the effort everyone!
