7.5 10 bolt question.
7.5 10 bolt question.
I just bought a rear end from a 84 camaro that has 3.73 gears in it. Before i put it in my car i would like to add a posi and 28 spline axels.I have read on a few places that 28 spline axels and the carrier will not fit.
I was looking at this one.

Re: 7.5 10 bolt question.
That's the Eaton Gov-Bomb aka Grenade-Lok. DO NOT put that in your car. There is NO WORSE GARBAGE than that.
28-spline axles and a 28-spline carrier will fit just fine.

Give this man a call and explain to him what you have and what you want.
This is a very reputable shop and he has some of the best prices around.

You can use 28 spline axles from a '90 to '92 Camaro and a 28 spline differential in that rear end.
Do NOT use a Governor Lock or Auburn. The Eaton Posi, Yukon Dura Grip, Eaton Truetrac or Torsen would all work fine. Some work better in different situations.
