Reverse lock out T-56,, best way to hook it up

I hooked up my reverse lockout yesterday on T-56 like must people do to your Brake pedal, but I found out the hard way that's not the best spot for it.
I ended up grinding reverse as I was down shifting from 6th to 5th on the brake when this guy cut me off.

Can the reverse lock out be hooked up to the VSS? So it only lets reverse in when it see's no movement?

I think this will do the trick..

Its a automatic door lock actuator, and it triggers off the VSS, and it can be set to trigger as low as 7mph.
I will flip the single with a relay and lock out reverse when the car is moving....................when the car is standing still it will be open.

Samoco box does look like an easier install. Thanks

I plan to go the Samoco route as well when I install the T56 into my 'bird. I constantly forgot to press the brake when I'd go to back the Iroc out of my garage (had lockout wired to brake as well). Plus, it'll eliminate the chances of grinding like you experienced.
