4L60E

I have recently acquired a 4L60E transmission and I wanted to know if anyone had any objections to putting it in my 82 Z with a 350. Also if there are no objections, does anyone know where I can get a drive shaft to fit and a crossmember?

Fits just like a stock trans ; only problem is you need a $1000 aftermarket controller ( or a LT1 / LS1 PCM )
to operate it seeing it is fully ELECTRONIC operation

I was going to use TCI's EZ TCU controller. So would my driveshaft from the th200c work with it? Any suggestions on crossmember? Hawksthirdgen has one but it says 84-92 and mines an 82

Simple
So go to a junkyard and get the DS and crossmember from a 84 - 92 factory auto car that came with a T700.

Google works

http://www.tciauto.com/tc/trans-dim

Compare the dimensions / trans mount locations and see if you can work it out yourself

Re: 4L60E

u can sell your origanal DS and crossmember to help fund your upgrade. They are highly desirable for those who want a th350 swap
