I just started my 383 stroker 2 days ago. Let it run for 20 min at 1.5k-2k rpm just to seat the rigns. I have a hydrolic roller cam, but the next day i started it and put in in to Gear 1 and it squeeled until 1.5k rpm then settled down. sounds like a loud Skreech kind of loud. I really hope dana will call or help me figure out if this is normal. The car isnt even on the ground yet. The car does sound like a pro drag car with the DOUGS Long tubes and the BORLA header back. Does anyone have any experience with a squeeling at low rpm's. Im nervouse on putting it on the ground.

What was the issue?

 

Not sure yet. I have a little tuning/wiring to do before i drop it to the floor. Im hoping its ok but dana said it could be normal to hear a little squeeling of some sort when breaking in the trans. I have his pro street elite with a precision industries TQ.
