4th gen pedal/ 4th gen slave/master q's

I am trying to get a straight answer.

I bought a brand new 4th slave/master cylinder & some used 4th gen pedals that are in good condistion

what will I have to do to have the right geometry and get it set up correctly?

I have most of the parts I need for my swap minus

These are the two things I am missing

http://www.samocoind.com/T56MODULE.html reverse lock out

and

http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd886.htm

Other then that I belive I just need a couple of bolts

thanks guys!

elongate the top hole on the brake assembly where it bolts above the steering column as well as drill the 2 of the four holes to match the other two where it bolts to the firewall(all four should be same diameter) by using the 4th gen pedal assem the slave and master go on just as they would on the 3rd-4th gen fbodys. For bolts ace hardware is a great place.

You shouldn't have to do anything to assure geometry is correct; you already did so by the purchase of matching components.

Let us know how the DD mechanical drive works out. I may never get one, opting to go tailhousing mod but it's always good to know what options are out there.

On my swap, I ended up making the clutch rod adjustable because in stock form, it did not have enough throw to disengage the clutch. I am using 4th gen pedals and 4th gen master/slave assembly. i have also seen the pivot point moved to fix this issue also.

How did you make the clutch rod adjustable?

Re: 4th gen pedal/ 4th gen slave/master q's

I used a 3/8 long nut for threaded rod and two 3/8 nuts. I cut a small portion out of the rod, then used a die and threaded it. Spin one nut on each side and the nut as a coupler. You can adjust it installed in the car and then the nuts will act as jam nuts when set. I had to extend it a bit to release properly. It releases for me about in the middle. You will know if you went too far when you hear the fork hitting the pressure plate when running.
