Car: 1982 Z28, 1991 RS
Engine: 350 Carbed, 305 TBI
Transmission: 700r4, t5
Axle/Gears: 3.23s posi Limited Slip, 3.08 posi
Gears

i have a rear end outta a 95 formula gears are 2.73s posi. i put in my 82 z, im getting a lt1 for it in the near future. but for now im gonna play with the old 350. i wanna go 3.73s, i gotta 7004 and a pretty much stock carbed 350 i plan on buying the gears and having a shop put them in. anyone guess what it will cost?i got to find a reliable place around here.

Figure around $500 for a carrier, $200 for the gears, $125 for the install kit, and around $300 for labor. Add $250 if the axles aren't perfect.

If Steele Body Shop still exists around there, talk to him about it; he probably won't do it himself, but will know somebody who will.
