Crossmember bolt size ?

Hello,

What is the crossmember bolt size for 87 firebird with 700r4?
Also what do they look like? I may or may not have them.

Thanks.

Re: Crossmember bolt size ?

If you're talking about the ones that hold the crossmember to the "frame", they're 10mm by whatever the std thread pitch is for that size; 1.5mm I think. 40mm long should do the trick. They had the built-in washer head. Eeeezy to get, from the cards hanging in the aisle at the parts stores.

Yep those be the ones. Ah cool. They might be in the canister of bolts that came with the car.. or not. I'm not sure. If not I'll just buy some new ones.

Thanks!
