Another lockup question

Another lockup question

So, my lockup circuit is acting stupid on my 91 1le. At steady cruise in 4th the converter locks and unlocks every 5-10 seconds. I was going to temporarily wire up a switch to manualy command the lock up on to verify if ive got a solenoid that failing or a control issue from the pcm. What Im thinking of doing instead is installing this tci manual converter control kit along with replacement lockup solenoid. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tci-376600/overview/

There shouldnt be any issues running this on an otherwise stock pcm setup do you think?

May also want to check the TCC switch on the brake pedal.
If it is flaky you may have intermittent power into the TCC circuit

If you are going drop the pan to install the solenoid ,why not just install a switch in the 4th gear port of the valve body and do a little int rewiring ?

Trans will lock only and always when it is in 4th , disengage when the brake used and no need for any ext control
