3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft fitment

I ordered the S60 for the Trans Am. Will I have any fitment issues going to a 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft? I am running the Assie 3:27 rear now matched up to a 200R4. Running stock torque arm.

Any advice would help.

I have a 9" rear, 3.5 or 4" aluminum driveshaft and 4" intermediate pipe, snug but no issues.

On fence between steel and aluminum. Chromemoly is 5/6# heavier I "heard" than steel from 2 driveshaft, etc companies. I can get a 3.5" aluminum w/ trans yoke 1350 series for around $415 shipped or a PST 3" steel for $380ish ready to install.
I have a 4" exhaust system.

Leaning toward 3.5" aluminum.

What kind of setup do you have in your car where you decided to go with a S60? I would assume most people requiring an S60 would need a very strong drive shaft, which is usually a steel or chrome moly shaft. Strength would be my first concern if you have mega hp and traction.

Never got a alert so I didn't see your post.

I ordered a 3" steel shaft from PST with their hardened yokes.

The norm for a Turbo TA. Ported heads, roller cam, bigger turbo, ic, alky injection, intake & exhaust, built trans...
