My 92 automatic tranny camaro has a chattering noise coming from around the front of the tranny in park and neutral. Put it in gear, and it stops. Car also sounds different when I start it. Starter isnt loose, but I haven't taken the inspection cover off the flywheel yet to look. What you guys think?

 

Check it out, My car sounds like crap when I start it. Rattling while starting and when I have my a/c on. Also while I have my a/c on, I hear what sounds like a rubbing noise but no loss in cooling. It is quiet with the a/c off. I have changed the a/c compressor and tensioner assembly. I took off the serpentine belt and off course the a/c doesnt make any noise (duh) but the horrible startup noise is still there. Any ideas guys? I don't have a ton of money to keep throwing parts at this thing.
