t56 conversion questions
i am doing a t56 swap and have some problems. i have a mechanical speedo since it is a 1989 rs, and it has the optical VSS, i am putting in a t56 which is set up for an electrical speedometer. what is the cheapest way i can convert it so i dont have problems between the VSS and the ECM. because i heard on another thread that a guy fried his ECM because the speedometer wasnt converted right. can anyone help me please, thanks.

Re: t56 conversion questions
You can either get an aftermarket speedo.
Have the tail housing machined to work with cable driven speedo (Contact ALLOY here on the forum).
Get a converter box to go from electrical to mechanical.
