Re: Please help!!
If your th-350 is a short shaft then you will need driveshaft from '82/83 with 3 speed auto.
If it's a long shaft th-350 then the stock 700r4 driveshaft will work
You can weld a 2" plate/tab onto stock 700r4 crossmember and drill/slot for trans mount, or use a 82/83
You still have to deal with hooking up the torque arm though. No way to mount TQ arm to stock th-350. B&M use to sell a cheap $90 swap kit that had a bracket that bolted to the tailshaft to case bolts. If you and your buddies can cut/weld/fab then that shouldn't be too hard to make up your own.
Google B&M th-350 swap kit to get ideas on how the bracket looked

Re: Please help!!
Your welcome.
I used the B&M th-400 swap kit on mine when I 1st built it, and then later added the Jegster tunnel saddle mounted torque arm and didn't need the TQ arm mount on trans.
My dad used the B&M th-350 swap kit on his 1982 firebird.
Both worked out great.
Oh I also forgot to mention you also have the option of an aftermarket TQ arm that does not mount to the trans tail but that's a higher up front price.
