Ok I'm swapping my 700r4 out for a 4l60e from an early 4th gen to get away from the issues I'm having. What transmission controller is the best in terms of price vs. ease of tuning for a novice. I'm looking at the e-z tcu, compushift, and the optishift. To whomever has done this swap any info on these controllers would be greatly appreciated.

 

I haven't done the swap myself, yet, but I know of a member who has and I believe the controller used was from TCI, with a favorable report from the car owner. The car flat hauls the mail.

Thanks bill!!! Do you know if he had any issues tuning the transmission for a large stall converter? Also what was he doing for his speedometer?
