v8 t5 in a v6?
So I found a t5 for a v8 I know besides gears and bellhousing what else would change? Would it be worth putting into my car that's has a 2.8 that's mildly modded? What else would I need to make this wowork? Thanks in advance!

So pretty much just the disc and good pilot? It is manual trans already just I can't find a v6 version in my city.

There's SO MANY people looking to convert the other way, you can probably trade it for a 6-cyl box and a pile of jack. That's what I'd do in your situation. The gears are different, a 6-cyl will have trouble launching from a stop with V8 gears.

I've used a V8 T5 with a V6 before. Just get a clutch disc for a 94+ 2.2 S10 or a clutch kit for a 93+ V6 F-body. V6 pilot bushing is a perfect fit already. The V8 T5 has great gearing but has very close ratios which may or may not be what you want.

I would second this. V6 trans are all over the place.
