hello everyone, I have a 1986 Camaro, its my first car. this car is 100% original I would like to make it more sturdy so I can use it as a daily driver and also take it to the track with out having to worry about things breaking. the engine is fine for now I am more worried about my transmission witch is automatic but I hope to convert it to a manual(any advice on that swap is greatly appreciated) I also want to stack the car as best I can so I can beat on it and not worry, if you have any ideas I am open and parts that you suggest would be nice, I am on a budget and my wallet is a friend of mine. thanks

 

There must be a hundred threads here on the T56 swap. Do some reading. Meanwhile, go hunting a used T56 from a '94-'97 Z28 / Formula / Trans Am. Expect to pay in the $1500 range.
