truck not engaging into gear

truck not engaging into gear

Ok I had this truck goin last Friday and it went into gear just fine.. parked it couldn't get it to start again got that fixed it was coil and timing did nothing yup tranny but now it won't go I put it in r n d 2 1 don't go anywhere just revs up... the shifting linkage is working my fluid is fine can anyone tell me wth happened

There is not enough information in your post to do anything other than guess.
If the fluid is full, and nothing is happening in any gear, 1 possibility it a broken pump.
disconnect the trans line at the radiator, any have a bucket under them.
Disable the the coil, and crank the engine for a few seconds. ATF should blow out of the rad or line. Safety is a concern, so do this carefully.
If nothing, pump is broke. If fluid sprays out, your problem lies somewhere in the trans or converter, and it will be found when it comes out, and is disassembled.

Ok I don't have tranny fluid goin through the lines and it is goin into gear I hear the rpm change just not goin anywhere...
How do I know if its the pump or converter everything I read about them says they make really bad noises when they go out but I hear nothing
