tko 600 help please
Please if some one can way in . background everything is brand new 383 sbc lakewood bellhousing and TKO 600 5009 . I am having a problem with the clutch I don't think I have it bleed right and the trans has 0 miles on it and I aligned the bellhousing .002 runout within spec. I'm using the stock master and slave when I got some one to push the clutch pedal to the floor and I watched the clutch fork and I can see the pressure plate and the throwout bearing only moves the about 1/16 of an inch . And the clutch pedal feels like crap spongey and loose never felt a clutch like that. And I made dang sure the pilot Bearing is on the right way . Do I have to go to a internal hdy beearing? And I measured my pivto ball it's 4.625 from the bell flanged because of the bellhousing saftey plate . I'm just so feed up at this point . Please help. Thanks and have a good day.

When in doubt, bleed it again. Let the slave cylinder hang down and tap on the line while you bleed it to try and free up any bubbles that may be stuck. The easiest way to check your work before putting everything back together is to block the slave cylinder piston with a steering wheel puller and push on the pedal. If it is rock hard, then you've bled it right and the problem is not in the hydraulics.

Bleed the hydraulics, let the slave hang and push the pushrod on the slave in and out to bleed it. Unless you have one with a blender screw on top.

We pumped and pumped for a long time. Just had to get all the air out. After that, it worked.
That paragraph sounds horribly wrong after reading it.
