95 camaro

hi i have 2 ?? i have a 1995 camaro that i have to rip the trans out
i noticed they put a new style drive shaft on like a 2 piece one can i use
a older one piece drive shaft from say a 92 camaro rs and will it work?


sencond this 95 camaro is a 3.4 l v6 . i have 2 stock torque converters from v8s

that are good can i put one of those on this v6 trans is the factory stall speed different ?

The slip yokes are the same, and lots of guys replace the 2-piece shafts with 1-piece. Confirm the length before driving away, the yoke needs to be an inch back from bottomed, at normal ride height.
No, you can't use a V8 converter with a V6, the V6 continued the 27-spline like the early 700R-4 and all 200-4Rs, and the V6 needs a looser converter. A 1400-stall V8 converter would be like a 1000-stall behind the V6.
'85-up V8 ( and 4.3L V6 ) 700R-4 / 4L60E used 30-spline inputs.
