T5 rear gears change and Gps speed sensor question?

I have 1991 rs with 3.08 gears right now. I am changing to 3.73 gears today and I know you can't find the gears to make the speedomoter and odometer read correctly so I ordered Intellitronix GPS Speedometer Senders S9020. My question is will the odometer read correctly? I know the speedo will.

Re: T5 rear gears change and Gps speed sensor question?

The S9020 should be able to feed the same wires the VSS previously fed. The reason it works at that position is the wiring feeds an ECM, cruise, and gauges, the wiring of which varies depending on year in the third gen. (some feed the ECM and ECM feeds the speedo. Others use a VSS buffer box.)

I'd rather have a touch-less pick-up sensor (89-up trucks, 93-up F-bodies) and an in-line ratio adapter (SGI-5 Dakota Digital and others) than a GPS version or speedo gear driven VSS (parts wear.)
