3RD GEN TRANS AM, 305ci with 4 sp 700r4 autobox (replacement second hand unit fitted few months back)
Doesn't shift from 1st gear until 5500rpm which can't be right?
It won't manually shift either from 1st to 2nd, nothing changes when I select 2nd but will still shift on high revs??
Any advice?
Fluids are new and TV cable has been adjusted.

Check the governor gear.
