removing inspection cover?
anyone have a picture of this or a good description of where it is? i have a pretty good idea but i want to be certain, i need to get it off so i can take the draing plug out of the T.Q. to get the fluid out of it for a fluid change.

There isn't a drain plug on the convertor. Just drop the pan, change the filter, and don't worry about the rest of the fluid in the trans. If you really want something to do get a can of cooler flush from the parts store, disconnect the line from the side of the tranny and flush the cooler.
