ok, i have heard so many ways to change the most tranny fluid as possible.

#1) Disconnect the cooler line going TO the radiator, and place it in a bucket, Then either put the return line in a clean bucket of tranny fluid, OR pour fluid in the tranny manualy as you RUN the engine.

#2) Drop the pan, take off the inspection cover and there should be a drain plug that u can disconnect to get most of the fluid out. But now i hear there IS NO drain plug.

#3) Change the fluid, and put a drain plug in the pan. Drive for a day or two, then drain the fluid gain, drive the car a few more days, drain the fluid again. Even though this will mix all the fluid... (there are other slight variations on this.)

HOW DO ALL THE PROFESSIONALS DO THIS?

Why do you want to get all the fluid out? I would say the best is to remove the tranny from the car and pull the converter. Then tip the tranny(tailshaft down) and drain a bunch out. When I had mine out and did this, the refill took a little more than a case. You might also find someplace that hooks to the both cooler lines and does a flush. If you pull just one line and drain it you risk running the pump dry.

I like to use a pressure gauge to first see how it is operating and then I take the head off of the gauge and put it in a bucket and start the car. I have done this along with adding oil to the tranny and watch until it looks fresh. This takes a fair amount of oil though. Remember to then drop the pan and change the filter. You can do essentially the same thing by doing it with the cooler line and a rubber hose going into a bucket.
