Installing the transgo shift kit and when I put the PR assembly back in it stuck way above the snap ring. I've been tapping at it and even used a magnet but cannot get it to seat on the clip. Is this ok? Will it go back in place when i start driving? This is my first time in a transmission so sorry if i sound like a newbie because I am

 

It will go back against the snap ring as soon as it in reverse.
