T56 vss to ecu ??
Hey guys, I did a t56 swap from an original 700r4 in my 86 camaro. I'm trying to figure oUT how to get the vss signal to the ecu. The car idles pretty good, but once it's under load and moving it starts sputtering and backfiring. I think it has to do with the vss? Anyways I got an abbot cable x box from a member on here, does the box convert the signal to the correct signal for the ecu? Or do I need a different converter for that? Also I don't really know how to wire the thing, it has the 3 wires but the vss on the tranny only has 2?
If someone could shed some light for me it would be much appreciated

Cable speedometer third gens have a VSS built into the back of the speedometer. This signal is fed to the ECM. So if you use the Cable X to spin the speedo, and assuming your car has a stock speedo / wiring, you'd be all set then.

cable x is pretty simple to wire you just have to find out in that booklet they send how many revolutions you'll be spinning with your wheel/tire combo and approximate that and just have a cable made for the box to your speedo i put mine under my front pass seat
