So I have a 88 Camaro that I put a 350 tbi in the transmission is a 700r4 out of a Firebird I rebuilt it three different times and it still isn't shifting right.
So I have access to a manual out of a 91 Camaro with the 305 tbi that I want to swap but I'm not sure about compatibility what I'm gonna need off the donor car. Also just for more info the 350 in my car came out of a motor home so it might have some sort of cam in it.

also would the 91 be the world class?

 

If you're anything less than nice to that T-5, the 350 will annihilate it...A World Class will hang on a bit longer.

If you go to Hawksthirdgen parts they have a T5 kit that shows all of the required parts for the swap.
