Simple brake switch question...

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula 350
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
Simple brake switch question...

TCC isn't locking up. Since I dont have a test light, a multimeter did the same job. When the key is in the ON position, I have the test leads on terminals A and F in the ALDL. I get 12 volts. However, when the brake pedal is pressed, I still have 12 volts. Should go to zero I believe. Bad brake switch or just out of adjustment? Cruise control seems to work fine if that helps.
