No speedo. T56 sgi-5e

I've read through the t56 swap thread, and still haven't figured it out?!? I have a 1992 Z/28 and just finished installing a 1997 t56 with the Dakota digital sgi-5e. I've tried wiring it up the way the directions say and also the other ways suggested in the thread and still nothing. Currently I have it set on H-L and out 4. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Try H-L, out 1, and adjust on the drive.

I had it all jacked up. I had the input signal set on high, should be low. I had the pullup on, I turned it off, not sure what it was for. I changed the output application from H-L to L-L and put the output to #3
